Dow University of Health Sciences was established in 1945 with objective of “Prevention is better than cure”. It is a public sector university and hospital affiliated with it Dow University hospital, Ojha. There are almost twenty thousand plus graduates produced by Dow University in the field of medical sciences.
After thoroughly market survey it has been observed that medical sciences also need graduate who posses both the qualification of medicine and Management because the skills of management and the knowledge of medicine sciences has combine and effective impact to run the hospital and pharmaceutical organization.
This need of market has been captured by DUHS and introduce a new field in Pakistan i.e. Bachelors, Masters and Executive Master in Hospital Management, Healthcare Management and Pharmaceutical Management with addition of Finance, marketing and Human Resource Management. It has been now twelve years going to be complete.
