HEC Academic incentive causes a foreign trade deficit

Turkish state university staff each year get extra to their salaries by publishing conference articles, journal articles, book chapters and projects. The main problem is the ratio of publishing values… The international conference mark is less than half of the book chapter value for Turkish academicians in Türkiye.

The criteria for the international conference by the Turkish HEC is to have more than half the studies should be from out of Türkiye and includes more than five country participants. At the same time, the support for travel and expenses is a minute amount, so only some may join…

To the policy of the Turkish HEC, Turkish researchers are trying to go abroad, and Türkiye is losing… With the criteria of the international conference of Turkish HEC, it is not easy to run an international in Türkiye.
More than 100 state universities and many of their staff are going abroad cause of Turkish HEC international event criteria.

To decrease the foreign trade deficit and get foreign people to Türkiye, it will both not lose and the same time, will have profit to getting an exchange from abroad.
