Communication is the process of conveying information between two or more people.where one is a sender and another is a receiver. There are three types of models in communication.
Which are as follows?
#LINEAR MODEL – Communication is considered a one-way process. Where the sender is the only one who sends messages and the receiver doesn’t give any feedback or response.

*Used for mass communication.
*No concept of feedback.
*Sender sends message and receiver only receive.
PROS:-
*Good at audience persuasion.
*Intentional result.
CONS:-
*Communication is not continuous as no concept of feedback.
*No way to know if communication was effective.
In this model sender, receiver, noise, the channel is taking place.
#SENDER- Sender is a person who sends a message.
#RECEIVER- a Receiver is a person who received that message.
#INTERACTIVE MODEL:-
In this model messages taking place both ways from sender to receiver and also from receiver to sender.
KEY FEATURES:-
*Used for new technology like internet and web.
*Concept of feedback.
PROS:-
*Both sender and receiver can send messages.
*Feedback even in mass communication.
CONS:-
*It becomes linear if the receiver doesn’t respond.
*Sender and receiver might not be known who the other person.
In this model sender, receiver, channel, noise, feedback is also taken place in the communication process. As we know sender and receiver is a person who sends a message and the other is who received it.
#Noise- Noise is a summation of unwanted or disturbing energy from natural and sometimes man-made.
#CHANNEL- Channel is a medium through which we send a message.
#TRANSACTION MODEL:-
In this model, both the sender and receiver are a communicator and both play an equally important role in communication.
FEATURES:-
*Sender and receiver interchange roles.
*Feedback is taken as a new message.
PROS:-
*It’s used for interpersonal communication.
*Instant feedback.
*Use verbal and non-verbal feedback.
CONS:-
*More noise due to communicators talking at the same time.
*Encourage non-verbal communication
