
Turkey’s oldest, the first railway station of the European side of Istanbul and Sirkeci railway, built between 1887-1889 during II. Sultan Abdulhamid period. It has travel opportunities not only to the districts of Istanbul but also to many European countries. Sirkeci train station, which fascinates itself with its architectural structure, together with the magnificence and colours of its windows, and the colour beams formed wth the changing sunlight during the day create a mystical atmospheric space.
Although Sirkeci train station has hosted various events recently, left its old active days to Marmaray, it preserves its grandeur with the traces of the past.
