“Integrity” is not the concept that people think daily but we hear almost daily in our life. The dictionary definition of integrity is “firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values.” In easy way, integrity is doing the right things, even when no one is watching. The real meaning of integrity is you are true to yourself. You are satisfying your soul.

How you may follow integrity in your daily life? You may keep your promises even if it takes additional effort. If you forgot to pay on store, go back and pay for that. Don’t talking badly about others. Be loyal to your life partner. Do not break the trust of others if they discuss their secrets. Parents apologizing to their kids for over-punishing or shouting at them because over-strictness effect their behaviour. Driving in a cooperative manner that is mindful of your fellow commuters is actually a sign of integrity.
How may you show your integrity at workplace? Boss who follow integrity is a boss not because they want to rule on others, but being a leader they organize and handle the challenging situations with adroitness. Managers stress on their employees’ accomplishments and restraining their own. Individuals in position of power say sorry for keeping their captive audience waiting. Workers should do their tasks at the time of work and save socializing, using internet and phone calls for break time. Give respect to your colleagues during your conversation and interaction. Follow company policies and procedures. Be responsible. Do what you promise you will do. If you do mistake in teamwork or miss your deadline, accept it. Work in teams this build trust.
The worthy news about integrity is that we’re not born with it or without it which means that it’s a behaviour-based feature we can improve over time.
