How to improve soil health
Soil is the uppermost layer of the earth crust. Soil is the basic pillar, where all agricultural practices are carried. Such as cultivation, forestry, poultry farming, agriculture, pisciculture, animal husbandry, mushroom cultivation, etc. Soil is infinite of life. Now a day’s many emigrations cause in soil properties due to using of agricultural chemicals by farmers in the large amount. So the problem of soil health is day by day increasing. Now need is to sustain the soil health by minimizing the chemical fertilizers and pesticides. By using organic matter, biofertilizers (INM) and adopting some agronomical practices we can improve the soil health.
It is our responsibility to improved soil health, in other words, improve soil properties such as their chemical, physical and biological means.
By adopting some practices we can improve soil health……
1- Application of fertilizers after soil testing.
2- Apply fertilizers from organic sources.
3- Made organic manure on your own form by using cow dung, urine and litter and other agricultural and kitchen waste.
4- Application of micro nutrient on your field with the help of soil testing.
5- By using proper crop rotation.
6- Application of bio-fertilizers.
7- By crop residue management.
8-Using green manure at least once in a year.
9-Use earthworms to prepare vermicompost on your form.
10- By maintaining proper care of soil through nutrient enrichment and application of organic manure.
